2. What Elevia does
Elevia is a quote discovery app. It shows a Quote of the Day, fetches additional inspirational quotes, lets you save quotes you like, and optionally schedules a local daily reminder on your device.
3. Information processed by the app
Elevia stores certain app data locally on your device so core features work properly. This local data can include:
- saved quotes
- custom categories you create for saved quotes
- theme, color, sorting, and filter preferences
- daily notification settings and selected reminder time
- cached quotes and quote identifiers used to reduce repeats
CricketDev does not require you to create an account and does not receive this local data from the app as part of a user profile or cloud sync service.
4. Internet access and third-party quote delivery
Elevia uses internet access to request quote content from the ZenQuotes API. When your device connects to that service, standard technical request data may be processed by the third-party service or your network provider, such as your IP address and request metadata. This is a normal part of delivering online content.
Elevia currently uses ZenQuotes only to retrieve quote content. CricketDev does not use the app to build advertising audiences or behavioural profiles.
5. Notifications
Elevia offers optional daily reminders. On supported Android versions, the app may request notification permission if you turn this feature on. Reminder scheduling is handled locally on your device and is based on the time you choose in the app.
If you do not want reminders, you can leave notifications off or revoke notification permission in your device settings.
6. Information Elevia does not intentionally collect
Elevia is not designed to collect the following directly:
- name, email address, or account credentials inside the app
- contacts, photos, microphone input, or camera data
- precise location data
- payment information
- advertising identifiers for in-app ad targeting
7. Sharing of information
CricketDev does not sell your personal information through Elevia. Because saved quotes and settings are stored locally, they are not routinely shared with CricketDev.
Limited technical information may still be handled by third-party services involved in delivering quote content or platform notifications as part of normal app operation.
8. Data retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you remove it. You can delete locally stored app data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app from your device.
9. Security
We aim to keep Elevia lightweight and privacy-conscious, but no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is perfectly secure. Please use the app with that in mind.
10. Changes to this policy
If Elevia's data practices change, CricketDev may update this policy. The updated version will appear at this page with a new effective date.
